It was thanks to a contact of Les Indémodables that they were able to evaluate a piece of extremely rare Cambodian Oud heartwood from the cellar of a private collector in the Middle East.

After a long process of fine-tuning the ultrasound extraction and fractionation of this raw and unique gem, the Les Indémodables team were able to present the extract to perfumer Antoine Lie, who immediately fell under the spell of this ingredient with an unprecedented olfactory profile, exceptional longevity, and olfactory complexity.

Antoine then composed a variation of the brand's best-selling Vanille Havane enriched with the deep and complex facets of this extract: a truly magical accord, that preserves the original structure while projecting us into another dimension, luminous with its aromatic and spicy facets, dark when on the skin it reveals a trail of precious woods, tanned hides, and pyrolyzed resins.

An exclusive, custom-made case has been developed for Vanille Havane Coeur d'Oud. A protective sleeve shields the case, which opens like a blooming flower. The technique of embossing was used to delicately feature the brand's emblem on the top of the case. The bottle, securely fixed on a podium, stands majestically at the center of the corolla.

The story behind the creation of this rare fragranceunfolds on each petal, written with a special ink in aprecious white gold hue. An extremely complex technique to pad print the bottle and its cap with the same white gold hue. And the cap can laser engraved to personlise your bottle.
