WHITE BLOOD
WHITE BLOOD
Eau de Parfum
Conceived as a luminous counterpart to the shadowy Ensang Noir, White Blood renders floral musk in perpetual motion: petals dissolving into sap, softness into radiance, floralcy into something vividly alive.
Despite what its notes might lead you to beleive, this is not a conventional white floral. Bertrand Duchaufour renders the genre as something sleek, mesmeric and opalescent, constantly shifting shape and tone on the skin. Black pepper and bergamot create a piquant rush before the joyful lift of starfruit swells vertiginously, bursting through the composition like a glittering disco ball, illuminating tiaré and pink lotus in flashes of iridescent light.
Then comes the transformation that increasingly feels like a signature of the L’Entropiste collection: the perfume does not settle into a fixed drydown so much as enter suspension. Musks and grey amber create a soft-focus, levitating canvas through which tiaré and pink lotus continue to flicker unexpectedly, giving the composition an nebulous, opaline bioluminescence.
With White Blood, Bertrand Duchaufour has created a fragrance in constant metamorphosis: opalescent and fluid, yet suspended in refracted radiance.
