VAPEURS DIABLOTINES N°5

VAPEURS DIABLOTINES N°5
Eau de Parfum
Vapeurs Diablotines is a burnished combustion of fierce sensuality that lingers ecstatically on skin. Woven from feral flames of castoreum, bay oil and chewy weird mastic exalted by the altar burning beauty of opoponax, pungent styrax, vanilla and a seriously expansive yellow mandarin note.
All the Sous le Manteau perfumes have a powdered facet, representing skin, nostalgia and intimacy. Vapeurs Diablotines has a singed clove and the gorgeous woody, rice-like allure of saffron.
It smells wicked, which is the point, but also deeply alluring, encapsulating a devilish edge of the love elixir mantra of Sous Le Manteau. The dense, suggestive base is anchored by Animalis, a powerful, lingering synthetic recreation of deer musk, which reaches out to the pungent clove and balsamic styrax.
The genuine spiciness of Vapeurs Diablotines is a surprise, but it is beautifully integrated into the resinous fumes of incense. The more you wear it, the more the clandestine suggestion of the brand’s name begins to make sense. It has the frisson illicit of rococo seduction, a flirtatious Boucher courtier, the flush of a Fragonard cheek. Urgent caresses in rollicking baroque Landaus.
