MILKY DRAGON

MILKY DRAGON
Eau de Parfum
Milky Dragon is Isabelle Larignon’s second launch and while it shares some of the delicate arrangements of Le Flocon de Johann K, it is its own slumbering creature, mysterious and opaque.
If you can imagine an ancient Chinese censer, made from a smooth white jade, shaped like an elegant, winged dragon wrapped around the base of a tree. His eyes are closed, just. Out of his mouth rolls a delicate stream of ambrosial incense that rolls down his beautifully sculptured scales and in a carefully designed groove around the censer.
A silent dragon dreaming of books.
It smells eternal with insistent echoes, coloratura assembly of materials and accords that seems at times like the olfactive manifestation of Elizabeth Frazer’s haunting vocals. A voice that calls to the ancient brain, we are aware there are words amid her silver-tongued crystalline delivery. Milky Dragon is a cryptic composition, mystery and opacity behind porcelain cold thematics and like Frazer’s veiled vocals, we are reminded that beneath the surface of this fascinating perfume, exquisite things writhe and scintillate like jade dragon scales.
