Eau de Parfum

A haiku-chiseled floral leather using both Chinese osmanthus ‘alcoolat’ and the flower’s absolute.

The alcoolat accentuates the flower’s inherently sweet-tart, apricot-like fruitiness and delicate, fresh floral sweetness. The absolute has deeper leathery undertones, which allows the scent of osmanthus to remain present throughout Cuir de Chine’s osmosis with skin.

A sliver of waxy ‘Grand Cru’ Egyptian Jasmine adds an alluring hint of lewdness. Tobacco, leather and the subtly herbaceous musk of clary sage create a playful androgyny. Serene yet riddled with implicit danger.
