Eau de Parfum
Notes From the Seed Vault turns towards the future through the quiet promise of preservation. Inspired by seeds buried deep in permafrost, Julie Barretta gathers ambrette, cotton, carrot and amaranth into a perfume that feels hushed, enveloping and faintly unsettling, as though life were being held in suspension.
There is something fibrous and tender in its texture, suggesting soft cloth, dry seed husks and the human instinct to safeguard what must endure. Beneath that gentleness lies a more troubling undercurrent: stored potential, dormant life and the vast uncertainty of what may yet be needed from it. It is a perfume of warmth, promise and gentle disturbance.
Notes from the Seed Vault settles especially beautifully into garments, where its softness can fully unfold.
