Eau de Parfum
Named for the ancient town in southern Italy, Altamura evokes a landscape where history, earth and light converge. In this composition, Bertrand Duchaufour explores the tension between brightness and smoke.
The fragrance opens with a flash of sweet orange, luminous and slightly boozy, recalling the amber glow of orange liqueur. The effect is radiant and effervescent, like sunlight refracted through glass.
Gradually the citrus brightness gives way to incense. Smoke rises slowly through the composition, airy and expansive, forming a soft cloud of resinous warmth. Citrus, incense and amber settle together on the skin, revealing the quiet harmony that emerges from contrast.
Altamura moves from light into warmth, a fragrance that feels both radiant and contemplative.
