Eau de Parfum
Pine is the soul of a Nordic forest. Unashamedly as vast in its terpenic shockwaves as swathes of isolated, gloriously menacing death metal pine trees.
It is a huge shock of severe needle-green with a powerful arboreal glitter and an unsettling sweetness. Pine is timber carrion, moss-clad, lichen shrouded.
It is simply pine; top, heart and base; but fascinatingly, it is not the piney tarred turpentine hit you might expect. The expert handling of the oil creates a crystallised sappy sweetness as Pine settles.
Pine raises the ghosts of Nordic black churches, wood seared, ornate and mysterious, in flames during the infamous Black Metal Church Burnings in the 90’s. This is undeniably a statement scent, one that plunges the wearer into forest nights and shadows that murmur like the possessed.
