Ruche suggests its nature through its name: a gathering, a decorative fold, a soft arrangement of texture and light.
Sparkling spices open the scent with a lifted, aerated clarity. Pink pepper, black pepper set up the central tension of Ruche: ripe raspberry cut through with piercing galbanum. Green, resinous and sharp, it pulls the fruit away from sweetness and into leaf, thorned stem with crisp botanical bite. Nutmeg bridges the two beautifully, milky, lightly woody and citrus-bright.
Raspberry brings its unmistakable summer pleasure, tart, red, juicy and lightly tannic. Its older linguistic associations with raspis, a sweet rose-coloured wine, feel beautifully in keeping with Ruche’s flushed, aromatic mood, gently intoxicating without becoming heavy.
Geranium gives the composition a crisp floral-green lift, while patchouli and sandalwood anchor it unobtrusively, smoothing the brightness into a supple trail that remains breezy and chic. Ruche moves between surprise and familiarity, trailing a graceful sensuality that feels effortless to wear.
