Santal Soie is a delicious enveloping gourmand of vanilla-robed sandalwood with a frisson of sticky carnality at its persuasive heart. First impressions are of a capricious caramelised orange, coated lightly in chocolate but a singed lavender and aromatic geranium pairing soon soften this as the ornate build of the base notes begins to assert itself.

The silken flow and drape of Santal Soie is gloriously flattering and while wearing it, one’s nose returns over and over again to an anointed wrist.
