Perfumer Marissa Zappas opens with eucalyptus, bergamot, ivy and white pepper, the sharp inhalation of cold air that catches in the chest. The heart is where Shiver becomes extraordinary: wet concrete, cold metal, vetiver and orris alongside a single startling pear note, luminous against all that grey.

The base settles into amber, cedarwood, oakmoss and patchouli, the ground warming slowly beneath your feet. This is a fragrance about the moment before everything changes, when the world is still frozen but no longer committed to winter.
