Here, the blonde beauty lies like strewn rose petals on the satin bed. See the bed, those sheets, the swathes of flushed pink sateen, the frilled edges of the coverlet, the heart-shaped pillows laced in gold thread. There, in the soft-glow, our Rose prepares for a night of pleasure.

Look at the dresser, all lacquered in the colour of cherry blossoms, gilded with flecks of golden paint. There the tools of anticipation stand, the rouge to be applied on the open lips, the blush puff that dots powder on the nose, the spidery inkblot of wet mascara on the lashes. Silken kisses wrapped in plastic, desire folding like the accordion pleats of the velvet curtains.

Faux Rose starts with the shimmer of a blooming pink rose, that spreads itself like thick honey across the senses. The scent of a sweetened Italian sponge cake, dusted with pink icing, waits to be devoured.
