Blondine is composed by Yann Vasnier who always brings a sense of 80’s Polaroid magic to his compositions. Blondine is no different, a perfume inspired by the unsettling 1920s French fairytale and its forest of irresistible flowers that ensnare the heroine in layers of enchantment.

Vasnier’s take is an unctuous creamy floral, the palest whipped chocolate and waxen lilies poured over blond musks and green mandarin. It is the transparency of the gourmand vibe that makes Blondine so successful; instead of cloying patisserie Vasnier delivers a sheen of milky opalescence.

Amid the beautifully assembled materials is a stylish latex sheen, something modern that complements the dreaminess of Blondine. A subtle lick of salted caramel adds cosmopolitan allure rather than any form of sickly excess. Blondine smells incredible as it blooms on the skin, a luscious sweet-suede marvel sure to cause addiction and desire.
