Dawn Spencer Hurwitz's Kentucky-themed compositions are Derby, Bluegrass and Tobacco. The Kentucky Derby as long American luxury tradition. The Bluegrass region as geological inheritance and musical fusion. Kentucky tobacco as elegiac, vanishing agricultural form.
Christophe Laudamiel's fragrances, Spacewood, Fig My Love and Rhubarb My Love, were originally created for his former house The Zoo and have been relaunched here by American Perfumer. Spacewood is a gossamer skin scent built on acacia and Egyptian mimosa. Fig My Love and Rhubarb My Love take recognisable fruits and shift them from photorealism into abstraction.
