An atmospheric moody addition to the Indémodables line of perfumes. Oranger Sirocco looks on paper like another orange blossom scent, but is in fact a shimmering coalescence of warm heady orange blossom absolute, woody bitter-green petitgrain and a beautifully desiccated Laotian cinnamon note.

The Sirocco is a wind that brings storms across the Mediterranean from the Arabian and Saharan deserts, blowing dry and dusty in North Africa and bringing mixed weather to Southern Europe. In Italy it sometimes creates a phenomenon called Blood Rain due to the red sand picked up on the wind’s journey.

Master Perfumer Antoine Lie has created an enigmatic and soulful mix of solar orange blossom with souk-inspired imaginings. Scented hustle and bustle mingle with the embedded romance of indolic white flowers and the dramatic woosh of cinnamon.

The Antoine Lie orange mood is one of ripening citrus, peel warmed by the sun, burgeoning juice and flesh balanced by the petitgrain distillation of orange tree twigs and fragrant leaves. A hallmark of all the Indémodables perfumes is the superb quality and realism of both naturals and accords and Oranger Sirocco is no exception.

A Grand Cru Laotian Royal Cinnamon note is used as a base ingredient. There is a complex intensity to this singular version of a familiar spice. Honeyed, woody and sweet it exudes a true sense of peeled bark.

Oranger Sirocco is delicious, unexpected in all the right places and deeply comforting. It begins with strong intentions, the indolic orange blossom a true diva note of erotic marmalade, then tempered so astutely by cinnamon and green woodiness of petitgrain. The winds of the Sirocco deliver this perfume with sensual and gustatory weather. A joy to wear and radiate.
