Created as a tribute to the incomparable Gillian Murphy and her final performance, Reine des Cygnes is a scented homage to the rare beauty that exists between stage and audience, the shared breath and suspended stillness, the quiet moment when you realise something extraordinary is ending.
Perfumer Odette Fontaine composed this fragrance from the perspective of watching Gillian take her last bow. Reine des Cygnes captures the emotional atmosphere of the evening, from the warm glow rising from the orchestra pit to the soft resin of the rosin box, the brushed elegance of satin ribbons, the subtle grain of the cedarwood barre and the electric hush of the grand tier before applause breaks open.
Reine des Cygnes is a keepsake of a final bow that lingers like the memory of a performance that changed you not because it lasted forever, but because it did not.
