Distant Love is built around the idea of longing. A composition that holds both presence and absence at once, drawing on the emotional tension found in classical Chinese poetry.
At its centre, rose carries the structure, full and expressive, while grape leaf introduces a fresh, slightly tart green note that brings brightness and lift. Around it, orange blossom adds clarity, and orris introduces a soft, diffused texture that moves through the composition.
Patchouli and vetiver anchor the fragrance, bringing a quiet depth and a faint bitterness that runs beneath the floral core. The structure remains steady and continuous, allowing the composition to unfold without sharp shifts.
